Born in Copenhagen, Denmark, STORM started painting in 1994 and has an ever evolving letter style. Coming from a part of the world which had a limited exposure to graffiti, unlike like other parts of Europe in the early 80’s, Storm has always looked further afield for influences, and this reflects his ability to switch styles. Storm is a member of HA (Heavy Artillery)

ID crew member, Pref, is a graffiti artist and graphic designer who made a name for himself by creating a unique style off graffiti that incorporates words and sentences by convoluting letters. These are fascinatingly hypnotic and in some cases six words are knotted together, creating a mix of over-layed colour tones and fonts.

Born in 1979, James Carey aka O.Two, is a London based artist who’s style is precise, urgent and abstract. His influences of music and skating resonate through the seemingly chaotic brush strokes and sober use of fonts. This style and talent has helped O.Two rise as an internationally acclaimed artist.

Originally from Istanbul, Desan resides as an artist in Burgdof, Switzerland. Desan Twentyone creates street pieces which are heavily influenced by his amazing calligraphy and typographic skills. Desan’s calligraphy and graffiti pieces, although different in style, require little colour as he relies purely on his muted, stylised calligraphy and typography that are seemingly stripped back, to create his own bare-boned fonts.

Bristolian, south of the river for ever! Apart from his "witty anecdotes and occasional banter”, Tickz first dipped his finger in the Bristol graffiti scene in the late 80'’s, since then like many of his comrades, the work life balance overwhelmed the urge to progress as an ‘artist’. We look forward to seeing what Tickz produces after his long hiatus.

Bristol based Epok, member of ILW, ASK and KTF crews, has been painting his stylised letters over Bristol walls for a number of years. In this time his style of lettering has evolved along with his execution. Epok has a method to every piece he paints, nothing is painted for the sake of it, everything is thought out, there is no time to waste. It seems very structured and militant in respect of his organisation and yet, it isn’t until you see him paint that you realise what he creates is improvised and spontaneous, leaving the finished piece free flowing but always solid and on point.

Niels Shoe Meulman (1967) is an internationally known artist, born, raised and based in Amsterdam, he began tagging ‘Shoe’ in 1979 and became a graffiti legend by the time he was 18. In the 1980s he met New York artists like Dondi White, Rammellzee and Keith Haring. He then formed the Crime Time Kings with Bando from Paris and Mode2 from London. Together they gave graffiti in Europe its own distinctive style.

In the 1990s he furthered his technique by apprenticing under the Dutch graphic artist Anthon Beeke. In the years after, he ran his own design company, Caulfield & Tensing and was partner in advertising agency Unruly, which he later turned into brand for silk scarves and a gallery.

Shoe revolutionised the art of writing in 2007 with Calligraffiti, an art form that fuses calligraphy and graffiti. Since then, his calligraphic paintings (signed NSM) have been shown in countless international exhibitions and are part of several museum collections. His recent painting style can be described as Abstract Expressionism with a calligraphic origin. It plays an important role in the new art movement Abstract Vandalism.

Bristol based 45RPM is a designer, painter and photographer with a beautifully focused eye on the unusual. His bold, vibrantly painted walls are always visually fun and audacious, each letter piece is network of straight lines and weird curves that seem to appear from nowhere but make perfect sense in their placement. Unpredictable letter shapes are guaranteed every time.

Common by name, uncommon by nature. Brighton based artist ‘Gary’ has a concoction of styles, ranging from wildstyle pieces to super casual typographic style writing. Whatever font design Gary chooses to use, his artwork is always polished to a high standard with a strong colour palette. Its sometimes difficult to consume the idea that his pieces are painted with a spray can, every outline is crisp, every fill is clean and the use of the drop shadow creates beautiful depth to his work.

Born and raised in Kent, AMUK has seen the trials and tribulations of what its like to be a Graffiti writer. A guy who has respect and honour for his devotion to writing.

From wild style to blockbuster lettering, Amuk has an undoubtable talent as a graffiti artist and illustrator and human being. Amuk was served an 18 month jail sentence just 3 weeks before finishing university in 2010, this sentence was issued 2 years after his arrest in 2008. In is own words...

"Surely a fine would’ve been of greater benefit to society, especially in the current economic situation. But this is what we are up against. Writers are still getting locked up and receiving ridiculous sentences. Hopefully the public will realise and something can finally be done to stop people going down for graff”.

Free all writers.

For the last 25 years, Bristol’s very own wild style czar has evolved his style through his own determination to produce great letters. For Soker it's all about the letters, the way they connect and sit with each other is fundamental, everything else that goes into creating the finished piece has to cradle these crucial components.

Over the decades, Soker has evolved his style whilst being respectful to that classic wild style funk. Explosive letters are what Soker creates, a quiet, selfless person who creates powerful pieces that express his inner fire.

Perfecting his craft since 1997, DOES is a multidisciplinary international artist recognised for his dizzying choice of colours, clean style and eye for detail.

Taking root in graffiti art, traditional letterform is Does’s primary love. He maintains that different hand styles betray elements of their owners' emotional landscapes, putting personality traits subconsciously on display. Only using the letters D, O, E and S as a foundation, he continues to elevate these etchings to new heights. Through an explosion of colour and shape, letters assume narrative.

Does’s continuous search to innovate and perfect his style display his disciplined nature. Dedication, focus and self-restraint are engrained in him after living the life of a professional soccer player until the age of 28. This path was set at the age of 9 when he was selected to train with the youth selection of one the Netherlands’ professional soccer clubs. As an outlet to his existence in the public eye, he lived a double life as an aspiring graffiti artist.

From Copenhagen, Denmark, Dais started out painting like most but pushing the limits has always motivated him since the begining. Dais likes to mix spray paint and acrylic, creating interesting tools to apply this favoured medium. From drills to brushes, each tool creates a new feeling to each piece and allows Dais to be more free in his creativity.

Not conforming to just painting, Dais creates pieces from objects that already exist in our streets and uses them to create 3D letters or sculptures.
